About me
Élia Roldão is an Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Science and Technology (2023), in the conservation and restoration of photography. Her research career has been guided by the pursuit of the development of non-invasive and innovative methods for the identification and treatment of photographs, with a focus on developing safe and efficient treatments. In 2019 she launched a research line focused on the study of mixed-media photoartworks mainly from renowned Portuguese artists, such as Helena Almeida and Ernesto de Sousa.
